Red Hat Linux, Oracle Apps Travel in Style

Due to the recent economy, which has hit the travel industry especially hard, MLT Vacations was looking for ways to save money. They did some research, decided to switch from proprietary UNIX servers to IBM servers running Oracle Database and Oracle Real Application Clusters on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and expect to save about $1 million over the next five years. They are also receiving the benefit of increased reliability.

Pythian has had similar positive experiences with client databases running on Linux.
