I’m launching a podcast!

I’m excited to announce that I’m launching a podcast!

It’s called “The Datascape Podcast.” You can find it on iTunes , Stitcher , TuneIn and Soundcloud.

My guests and I will discuss technology trends, issues, and news from the data perspective. We’ll discuss what various technologies are, how you can learn about them and their validity.

I will continue to blog about here, so if you don’t like podcasts but are interested in the content, this is a great place to find it.

Interested in a preview?  In my first episode, I interview Warner Chaves, (blog) and we discuss the past and future of the DBA Career.

So, why a podcast?

I love podcasts! I became addicted to them about two years ago. I find they’re a great way to learn on the go, and while I enjoy audio books, I prefer condensed subjects that I can get through in one or two short sessions while driving, at the gym or working around the house.

Working at Pythian, I have the opportunity to speak with many of the best technologists, and we are exposed to interesting people and challenging problems. I want to share those stories and lessons with you!

The format will be an informal discussion style and under 60 minutes. Your feedback will be welcome as the show evolves and I hope you enjoy the content.
