EMC and Oracle Establish Joint Technology Development Center in China

Posted in: Technical Track

EMC Corporation and Oracle have announced the creation of a joint center for technology development by EMC China and Oracle China in Beijing. One of the first Asia Pacific centers of its kind for both companies, the goal of the center is to develop and showcase leading cooperative solutions to joint customers in the Asia Pacific region.

The center also signifies a cementing of the strategic alliance between EMC and Oracle. This holds special significance in light of Oracle CEO Larry Ellison’s backing of Pillar Data, a start-up storage rival of EMC.
