‘Most important ever’ MySQL reaches beta

MySQL has released a beta version of its new MySQL 5.0 database. According to MySQL co-founder David Axmark they are “fixing 10 years of criticism in one release.” Enterprise functionality that MySQL has lacked since its inception has been incorporated into 5.0. Axmark and company anticipate this release will make MySQL a more viable option for corporations and users across the board. read article.
