Oracle OpenWorld 2012 Mela

Posted in: Technical Track

I know Oracle OpenWorld from the blogs, Twitter updates, and YouTube clips of the sessions and all the fun going on. Now I cannot wait to attend my first ever OpenWorld and present there. I believe that it’s not only a great technical mela  (i.e festival), but also a stellar opportunity to network.

It’s an open secret that many people go there as database learners and come out as database professionals. This year, Pythian’s Jeremy presents RAC Attack, an OpenWorld cornerstone that enable others to excel and enjoy the Real Application Clusters.

All these years, one of the best events at Oracle OpenWorld was the Bloggers Meetup, and this year, I am looking forward to attend that and savor each moment of it. Besides this, we have many other great sessions lined up by fellow Pythian colleagues.

See you at OOW!

About the Author

I have been in love with Oracle blogging since 2007. This blogging, coupled with extensive participation in Oracle forums, plus Oracle related speaking engagements, various Oracle certifications, teaching, and working in the trenches with Oracle technologies has enabled me to receive the Oracle ACE award. I was the first ever Pakistani to get that award. From Oracle Open World SF to Foresight 20:20 Perth. I have been expressing my love for Exadata. For the last few years, I am loving the data at Pythian, and proudly writing their log buffer carnivals.
