Oracle’s buyout spree goes on, and on

Oracle is making yet another purchase. This time it’s Oblix, a small security software specialist, that will become part of the Oracle fold. Although Oblix only has about 100 employees, it is considered a key player in the relatively new field of identity management solutions, listing several top corporations among its clients.

The move may seem unrelated to the recent Retek Purchase, but analysts consider both endeavors part of Oracle’s strategy to edge ahead of SAP in enterprise applications. read article.
