We are happy to announce that Pythian has been ranked 156th on the annual Branham300—the definitive listing of Canada’s multinational information and communications technology (ICT) companies.
Pythian earned the recognition based on its significant growth: The company’s revenues grew over 50% percent in 2011, continuing a company trend of doubling in size every two years. That growth is attributable to Pythian’s exceptional leadership team, strong employee base, solid business model, and loyal clients, according to Pythian CEO Andrew Waitman:
“When you combine a clarity of focus, competency of execution, and an exceptional company culture, you set up the conditions for the emergence of a very successful services company,” he said. “It’s an honour to be recognized by Branham, and we’re proud to be named on such a prestigious national listing. It’s a signal of our significant size and presence in the industry.”
Pythian also recently received the 2012 Employer Excellence Award for Retention and Engagement by Hire Immigrants Ottawa, acknowledging its accomplishments in workplace diversity, and was named Company of the Year in 2011 by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce’s Business Achievement Awards. Further to that, Pythian was ranked on both the 2010 and 2011 PROFIT 200 list of Canada’s fastest-growing companies. To find out more, visit our awards page.
