Revised Critical Patch Update for Oracle 10.1.0.2

Posted in: Technical Track

If you downloaded the Critical Patch Update January 2005 for Oracle Database 10.1.0.2 for Windows 32-bit (Patch 4104364) on or before February 09, 2005, you’ll need to do it again.

A file was copied to the wrong location on MetaLink, which resulted in incomplete installation. Manually copying the file to the correct location causes inventory corruption and the patch is not de-installable. Even if you have already successfully applied the patch, Oracle advises downloading and re-installing the patch dated February 09, 2005 or later. Download.
